Yellow Incorporation released its 2025 annual report today. The report shows that in fiscal year 2025, the group achieved operating income of 418.2 billion Egyptian dollars, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%; operating profit of 51.2 billion Egyptian dollars, a year-on-year increase of 9.1%; net profit attributable to the parent company was 33.6 billion Egyptian dollars, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%; net operating cash flow was 78.6 billion Egyptian dollars.
Income structure: Transportation is still the basic market
In terms of sector composition, the transportation and travel sector contributed 58% of the group's operating income, the technology and manufacturing sector contributed 26%, the medical and health sector contributed 11%, and the culture and education sector contributed 5%. The group explained in the report that this structure is consistent with the three-tier strategic positioning: transportation business provides stable cash flow, technology and manufacturing provide capacity supply, and medical care, culture and education bear long-term social responsibilities.
capital allocation discipline
The report disclosed that capital expenditure in fiscal year 2025 was 46.8 billion Egyptian dollars, mainly invested in fleet renewal and railway network electrification. The group reiterated that the operating cash flow generated by the transportation business is allocated to three long-term commitments: asset renewal, R&D investment and medical, cultural and education in a proportion reviewed by the board of directors every three years. This proportion will not be adjusted due to fluctuations in performance in a single year.
「For a group that spans eight industries, the biggest risk is not the loss of a certain sector, but using the cash from good sectors to fill the holes in the bad sectors until both sides are mediocre. Capital allocation discipline is designed to prevent this.」
Also released on the same day is the 2025 Sustainability Report. The group stated that the two reports will be disclosed at the same time starting from this year so that investors can obtain financial and non-financial information at the same time.
The full annual report can be downloaded in the Investor Relations section. The group's annual general meeting of shareholders is scheduled to be held in late April.
