Yellow Medical Primary health service platform access institutions are expanding again, and image interpretation capabilities continue to decline
The platform remotely exports image interpretation, inspection and follow-up capabilities to areas with insufficient resources. In the group's assessment of Yellow Medical, the weight of the population covered by the service and the number of access points to grassroots institutions was higher than the revenue growth rate.

Yellow Medical reported today that the number of access institutions to its grassroots health service platform has continued to expand in the past year, and the coverage areas have further extended to areas with insufficient medical resources. The platform remotely outputs three types of capabilities: image interpretation, test result interpretation, and chronic disease follow-up to primary medical institutions.
Send abilities instead of taking patients over
Yellow Medical explained the design logic of the platform in the notification. In areas with insufficient medical resources, the most scarce thing is often not equipment, but professionals who can understand the output results of the equipment. An imaging device can be purchased, but it is difficult to train or introduce an experienced radiologist in a short period of time.
The platform is designed to let community healthcare providers carry out examinations and capture images locally. Once the images are uploaded, specialists at Yellow Medical’s imaging centre interpret them and return a structured report. Patients no longer need to travel to another region for a single examination, while local providers can offer services even when they lack on-site reporting expertise.
- Image interpretation: remote interpretation and structured report transmission of chest, skeletal and abdominal images.
- Test interpretation: Grading tips and referral suggestions for abnormal test results.
- Chronic disease follow-up: follow-up plan arrangement and compliance tracking for chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.
- Co-building of capabilities: Primary doctors participate in interpretation reviews and gradually form local interpretation capabilities.
Assessment caliber determines business form
Yellow Medical said that the continued investment in the platform is directly related to the group’s assessment arrangements. In the group's assessment indicators for Yellow Medical, the weight of the population covered by the service and the number of access points to grassroots institutions is higher than the growth rate of operating income. This caliber is jointly established by the company and the group. Its effect is that the company does not have to repeatedly weigh between "increasing revenue" and "expanding coverage" in resource allocation.
「If the assessment only looks at income, then investing resources in high-end diagnosis and treatment in big cities is always a better solution. If the assessment caliber is changed, the business form will change accordingly.」
The platform’s data processing follows the group’s unified hierarchical authorization framework. Patient-identifiable fields are irreversibly de-identified before entering the analysis environment, and access logs are independently retained by the group's information security department.
