The Group was awarded the Best Employer of the Year, and the hierarchical ranking system became the main evaluation basis.

The review comments pointed out that the group's practice of retaining independent promotion channels for pilots, train drivers, engineers, clinicians and orchestra musicians has reference value among cross-industry groups.

Yellow Incorporation was awarded the Best Employer in this year's employer selection. The review comments specifically mentioned the group's sequential rank system: independent rank standards and promotion channels are reserved for pilots, train drivers, software engineers, clinicians and symphony performers, which is considered to have reference value in cross-industry groups.

Why do you need to sequence

The group spans eight industries, and its talent structure varies greatly. A senior pilot's ability is evaluated based on flight hours, aircraft type qualifications and safety records; a clinician is evaluated based on the volume of diagnosis and treatment, handling of difficult cases and academic output; a symphony performer is evaluated based on vocal performance and the quality of concert completion. These standards cannot be measured by the same system.

The group's human resources department explained that under the unified rank system, there is often only one way for professionals to be promoted: to switch to management. The result is that the best professionals leave the front line to do things they are not good at and may not want to do. The purpose of the sequential ranking system is to allow the professional path itself to reach a high enough position.

「A captain who has been flying for thirty years and has led hundreds of co-pilots should not stop at a certain rank just because he does not want to be a department manager. His value is in the cockpit, not in the boardroom.」
— 魏莱 集团总裁

Cross-industry mobility complements

In addition to the professional sequence, the group maintains a unified approach to the management sequence and has established an internal rotation mechanism to enable management talents to be deployed across industries among member companies. The reviewers believed that this dual-track design of "professional depth + management horizontality" is the key to the group's ability to maintain organizational consistency despite a highly heterogeneous talent structure.

The group also explained that the safety one-vote veto system is also an integral part of the employer's evaluation: any front-line employee has the right to stop operations without bearing any performance consequences.
